What to Do

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth, paying special attention to the intricate wire lattice and ornamental scrollwork.
• Use a soft detailing brush to clean the heart-shaped crest, curled feet, and narrow wire openings.
• Lift and reposition the basket by supporting its base with both hands to protect the delicate metalwork.

What to Avoid

• Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and rough scrubbers that may damage the distressed ivory patina.
• Keep away from prolonged moisture, direct heat, and strong sunlight to preserve the aged finish.
• Do not lift the basket by its ornamental crest, drag it across surfaces, or place excessively heavy objects inside.
