Each product page includes essential information such as materials, finish, colour, dimensions, and other key specifications. For additional guidance, you may contact our customer care team at 9119154535.
Before confirming an order, customers are expected to review product dimensions carefully and assess room
proportions, entryways, staircases, and service-lift access. Fitment remains the customer's responsibility. Orders cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded solely because a product does not fit the intended room or access route.
Yes. Site visits or in-person consultations may be arranged selectively, subject to project requirements,location feasibility, and Samurai Home's discretion.
Yes. Our design stylists offer complimentary consultation to help evaluate layouts, product combinations, and finish directions. Where appropriate, we may also share a space rendering featuring Samurai Home products.
At present, Samurai Home does not offer gift-wrapping services.
Our pricing reflects the design value, craftsmanship, and quality of every Samurai Home piece. For institutional, hospitality, or other volume-led requirements, commercial pricing may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on product type, finish, quantity, and project scope.
Our collections are intentionally developed in carefully curated sizes, finishes, and colourways based on long-term design insight and customer demand. As a result, most standard retail pieces are sold as offered. For select requirements such as clubhouse, restaurant, or other project-based orders, customisation may be
explored on a case-by-case basis.
Samurai Home is a design-led brand and many of our pieces are produced in limited batches. Because repeat production is not always assured, restocking or repeat availability cannot be guaranteed.
In the unlikely event that an item becomes unavailable after payment confirmation, we will offer either a
full refund to the original payment method or an alternative product, according to your preference.
Yes. Orders can be billed in a company name by providing the applicable GST number at the time of purchase.
A GST invoice will be issued for eligible business purchases. Customers should review their eligibility and the relevant tax treatment with their tax advisor.
We make every effort to maintain consistency across our collections. However, because many of our products are handcrafted, slight variations between production batches may occur.
We strive to represent every product as accurately as possible. However, handcrafted detailing, natural material variation, lighting, and individual screen settings may result in minor visual differences. For important colour decisions, we recommend reviewing physical products or swatches wherever possible.
For selected designs, raw frames may be available, allowing custom fabric or colour application subject to feasibility and stock availability. For products that are not maintained in raw form, any approved fabric or colour alteration may attract an additional charge.
Payment& Taxation
Yes. Samurai Home currently offers a 6-month no-cost EMI option and a 24-month standard EMI option, subject to partner eligibility and payment terms.
GST is applied according to product category under the prevailing tax structure. At present, furniture and leather goods attract 18% GST, fabric cushion covers attract 5% GST, and lighting products attract 12% GST.
Product Care
• Dust surfaces regularly using a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a lightly damp cloth with a mild soap
solution and dry the surface immediately afterwards.
• Do not use commercial glass or multi-surface cleaners, including products such as Colin, as these may affect
the finish.
• Keep furniture away from direct sunlight and intense heat sources, as prolonged exposure may cause fading, cracking, or warping.
• Use coasters, placemats, and protective pads to minimise scratches, water rings, and surface marks.
• When moving a piece, lift it rather than dragging it in order to protect the legs, frame, and joinery.
• Wood furniture may be polished periodically with a suitable wood polish to preserve its finish and natural
character.
Sofa Care
• Vacuum the sofa regularly to remove dust, crumbs, and debris, paying particular attention to seams and cushion gaps.
• For upholstered fabrics, consider an appropriate fabric protector to help resist staining. Spills should be attended to immediately by blotting rather than rubbing.
• Rotate and fluff cushions periodically to maintain their form and encourage even wear.
Care for Removable Upholstery
• Remove and vacuum covers regularly to maintain cleanliness and preserve the fabric's appearance.
• Always follow the care label. Where machine washing is permitted, use a gentle cycle, mild detergent, and cold water.
• Avoid bleach and other harsh cleaning agents that may weaken fibres or affect colour.
• Air-dry covers flat or on a hanger. Avoid strong direct sunlight and high heat, which may cause shrinkage or
fading.
• For stains, spot clean promptly with a mild solution and a soft cloth. Always blot rather than rub, and test any cleaning method on a concealed area first.
• Ensure the covers are fully dry before refitting them to avoid moisture retention, mildew, or misshaping.
Rug Care
• Vacuum regularly using a low powered machine, ideally without a beater brush, to prevent dust from settling deep into the pile.
• Avoid continuous exposure to direct sunlight in order to reduce fading and fibre stress.
• A degree of shedding is natural in many rugs and typically reduces over time with regular care.
• Use protectors under heavy furniture legs to prevent flattening of the pile.
• Do not pull loose yarn ends. Trim them carefully with scissors instead.
• Rotate the rug periodically to encourage even wear.
• Blot spills immediately using a clean, undyed cloth, pressing firmly to absorb as much liquid as possible.
• For difficult stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.
• When storing a rug, keep it in a dry, ventilated setting. Roll it rather than folding it, with the backing facing
outward, and wrap it in cloth rather than airtight plastic.
• Using a rug pad is recommended to enhance comfort, stability, and longevity.
Delivery& Shipping
Shipping charges are determined according to delivery pin code, order size, and shipment weight.
Ready-to-dispatch pieces are typically processed and released from our dispatch facility within 7-15 days of
order confirmation and completion of finishing. Certain oversized pieces or items not immediately available in ready stock may require additional processing time. During periods of exceptional demand, festive seasons, civic disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances, dispatch timelines may be extended. Where an extended timeline applies, our team will keep you informed. Made-to-order or customer-order pieces generally require 40-45 days for dispatch from the date of order confirmation.
For ready-to-dispatch pieces, delivery typically takes between 2 and 10 working days depending on the destination pin code. Items that are not ready to dispatch may follow a different fulfilment timeline, which will be communicated separately.
No. Once an order has been confirmed, the delivery address cannot be modified.
Each product page provides a pin-code check option that allows you to review the estimated delivery timeline before purchase.
Samurai Home does not currently offer express delivery. All orders are processed in line with our standard dispatch timelines, which vary depending on product readiness and order type.
Yes. International shipping can be arranged for customers outside India.
Yes. Our logistics partner will contact you before delivery in order to schedule the drop-off.
If delivery cannot be completed on the first attempt, we will arrange a re-attempt based on your availability and request.
The first re-attempt is not charged. Any additional re-attempts after that will be billed at actual cost as quoted by the logistics partner.
Yes. We can hold your order for up to 30 days at no additional charge.
Yes. Delivery is made to the doorstep where service-lift access is available. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the property offers suitable access for the product.
In such cases, the customer must arrange labour or support to move the product via staircase access. Where feasible, we may try to assist in arranging manpower at an additional cost, but this cannot be guaranteed.
If access limitations such as a narrow stairway are not disclosed in advance and damage occurs while moving the product through that space, Samurai Home will not be responsible. Customers are strongly encouraged to highlight access constraints before placing the order so the situation can be assessed.
Yes. If multiple products are purchased in a single order, the order is intended to be delivered together.
Our products are packed using multiple protective layers and are checked through drop-test methods to reduce the possibility of transit damage. If you notice visible damage to the package, please report it immediately to our customer care team. Minor marks on the outermost layer may occur in transit, while the inner protective layers usually remain intact.
Installation & On-Site Handling
Where applicable, the need for installation will be mentioned in the product description on the relevant
product page.
No. Samurai Home does not provide installation services. Any assembly, fitting, or on-site handling must
be arranged by the customer.
The customer is responsible for retaining and repacking the product in its original packaging when required for review, return, or replacement processing.
No. As installation and fitting support are not part of our service scope, Samurai Home does not provide on-site assistance for products that do not require installation.
Cancellations,Returns, Replacements & Store Credit
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of order confirmation, provided they have not yet been dispatched. In such cases, the standard resolution is a 100% store credit issued as a credit note with no expiry period. In exceptional cases where a refund to the original source account is approved, bank transaction charges of 2.5% will be deducted.
No. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
Return requests may be raised within 3 days of delivery and are accepted only where a wrong product has been delivered or the product has arrived damaged.
To request a return for transit damage or an incorrect item, please retain the original packaging and share a clear, continuous video recorded while opening the box, together with photographs of the product concern. The opening video is required so that the condition of the item at the time of receipt can be verified and, where relevant, the matter can be taken up with the delivery partner.
No. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm access dimensions in advance. Requests based on entryway, staircase, or lift fitment issues cannot be accepted.
No. Returns are not accepted for room-fit or layout concerns. Returns are limited to wrong-item and damage-related cases only.
Samurai Home does not offer a general refund policy. In the unlikely event that a wrong or damaged product is delivered, we will either replace it with a fresh piece or offer the option to reselect from available stock.
No. Samurai Home does not offer returns or store credit under a change-of-mind or change-of-heart policy.
While we make every effort to honour the indicated timelines, occasional delays may arise for reasons beyond our control. Delayed delivery does not qualify for store credit.
Store credit is processed once the approved return shipment has reached our facility.
Once the returned shipment has been received and verified, store credit may take up to 3 working days to be issued.
Replacement is available only where the delivered item is damaged or incorrect.
No. Please retain the original packaging until the return window has fully lapsed. If the original box is unavailable, a return or replacement request may not be accepted.
Warranty
Samurai Home stands behind the quality, beauty, and resilience of its collections and warrants its pieces against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty is intended to address manufacturing-related issues rather than outcomes caused by use conditions, impact, mishandling, or environmental exposure.
Our customer care team may review the issue and advise whether repair is feasible, together with the applicable charges.
No. Approved warranty claims are addressed through repair or replacement of the affected piece, at Samurai Home's discretion.
To initiate a warranty claim, please share clear photographs or videos of the product concern together with your order details with our customer care team at 9119154535. For transit-related damage or any issue identified while unboxing, a clear, continuous opening video is required so that we can establish that the damage did not occur after delivery and, where applicable, raise the matter with our delivery partner.
- Defects in materials or workmanship, including cracking, splitting, or warping not resulting from external
conditions. - Defects affecting the structural ntegrity of the furniture, including frames, joints, stability, or load-bearing performance.
- Defects in finishes or coatings, including peeling, blistering, or significant fading under normal use
conditions. - Failure of attached hardware or components, including hinges, screws, or brackets, where such failure is due to a manufacturing defect.
- Repair or replacement of the defective component or, where necessary, the entire product, depending on the nature and severity of the defect.
Warranty Exclusions
- Normal wear and tear arising from age, regular use, repeated use, or use beyond the intended function of the product.
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, abuse, tampering, accident, improper handling, or impact occurring after delivery.
- Damage caused by improper installation, unauthorised or third party assembly, relocation, modification, poor maintenance, unsuitable storage, or failure to follow Samurai Home's care, cleaning, handling, or usage instructions.
- Damage caused by water exposure, dampness, excessive dryness, humidity, heat, direct sunlight, or other environmental conditions outside controlled manufacturing conditions.
- Products sold through exhibition events, clearance sales, discounted sales, or on an as-is, as displayed, or as seen-and-liked basis, except where Samurai Home confirms a manufacturing defect.
- Breakage of glass, mirrors, stone, marble, or other fragile surfaces after the product has been delivered and accepted.
- Any indirect loss, incidental expense, special damage, or consequential financial loss beyond the purchase value of the defective product.
- Natural movement, shrinkage, expansion, or superficial cracking in solid wood caused by seasonal variation, acclimatisation, excessive dryness, humidity, or similar environmental factors.
- Hairline cracks measuring less than 10 cm, provided such cracks do not affect the structural integrity or intended function of the product.
- Minor handcrafted or natural irregularities, including knots, grain variation, tone variation, texture
variation, or small surface inconsistencies inherent to solid wood and other natural materials. - Borer, termite, fungus, mould, or similar issues arising from prolonged humidity, damp conditions, poor storage, water ingress, or other environmental factors occurring after delivery.
- Slight movement, unevenness, or wobble caused by uneven flooring, site conditions, or improper placement rather than a manufacturing defect.
- Chipping, cracking, edge damage, or breakage caused by improper handling, impact, concentrated loading, dragging of objects, or inappropriate use.
- Permanent staining. Marble and stone are stain resistant, not stain proof, and deep, stubborn, or long-standing stains are not covered.
- Etching, patchiness, dulling, discolouration, or surface change resulting from acidic substances, oils, pigments, harsh chemicals, or unsuitable cleaning methods.
- Natural variation in colour, veining, pattern, porosity, mineral marking, or texture, which are inherent
characteristics of natural marble and stone. - Ordinary wear, including scratching, dulling, finish changes, or edge wear arising through daily use over time.
- Damage caused by failure to use appropriate coasters, mats, trivets, or protective pads where reasonably
required.
- Natural fading, creasing, wrinkling, stretching, softening, or shade variation of fabric or leather through normal use, ageing, or exposure to light.
- Natural markings, grain variation, texture variation, or tonal differences in leather, which are inherent
characteristics of genuine leather and not defects. - Pilling, snagging, staining, dye transfer, odour absorption, pet damage, or damage caused by spills, cosmetics, body oils, food, liquids, or cleaning products.
- Gradual softening, compression, settling, or flattening of foam, fibre, feather, springs, webbing, or cushion
cores occurring through regular use, unless directly attributable to a manufacturing defect.
- Loosening, corrosion, finish wear, or deterioration of hinges, screws, brackets, runners, handles, or other hardware
caused by normal use, poor maintenance, environmental exposure, or improper handling after delivery. - Replacement of consumable, wearable, or easily damaged components where the issue does not arise from a manufacturing defect.
- All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment by Samurai Home.
- Samurai Home reserves the sole right to determine whether the reported issue constitutes a manufacturing defect, a structural defect, a natural characteristic of the material, normal wear and tear, or damage excluded under this warranty.
